Description
A watching brief was carried out during groundworks associated with three trenches for a new electric cable. Former yard surfaces connected with the farm were seen, apparently truncating any earlier deposits. No archaeological features were identified in the area within the Templar precinct, suggesting that this area may have been a garden or orchard. A single medieval sherd and tile fragment were recovered as well as post medieval brick and tile. {1}{2}
