Description

A single trial trench was excavated to inform proposed residential development on land at Northgate House, Sleaford. A post-medieval levelling deposit, very likely associated with the construction of Northgate House, was the only archaeological layer encountered. It is very likely that the construction of Northgate House resulted in the truncation of earlier deposits in this area. {1}{2}
