Description

Ten trial trenches were excavated in advance of proposed residential development. A number of undated pits and an undated post hole were uncovered, along with deposits probably relating to the adjacent maltings complex. One of the pits contained a single prehistoric sherd, and environmental samples also suggest a prehistoric date for these features. {1}{2}
