Description

Three trial trenches were excavated in advance of proposed development at the Upper Witham Drainage Board Building, St Catherine's Road, Lincoln. Several inhumation burials and a substantial stone wall associated with St Catherine's Priory were uncovered along with fragments of ecclesiastical stonework and painted window glass. {1}{2}
