Description

An archaeological watching brief was undertaken on land at Norton Bottoms Quarry, Stapleford during topsoil stripping prior to the expansion of a gravel quarry. Late post-medieval, modern and undated linear features were present, representing agricultural enclosures and drainage. A single undated quarrying pit was also revealed.{1}{2}
