Description

A watching brief was carried out during groundworks associated with the Coffee Shop Project, including the removal of the previous floor surface and the excavation of service trenches. Four short sections of wall and an associated floor of 19th-20th century date were encountered along with a well and other features probably associated with a 19th-20th century laundry. 20th century features relating to the building's use as a garage were also encountered. {1}
