Description

Mr J. Chapman observed a scatter of Romano-British pottery with stone, slag and oyster shell in this field in 1978. Medieval and post medieval pottery was also seen. Only the outside edges of the field were searched due to the rest of the field being under crop at the time. The earthworks in the field to the north were also observed. {1}
