Description

A fluxgate gradiometer survey was undertaken along a section of the proposed Market Deeping to Deeping St Nicholas Water Main reinforcement water main. For the most part, the survey area appeared to be clear of any significant archaeological anomalies. The results indicate areas of modern interference and widespread natural features, such as palaeochannels and isolated deposits of silt and peat.{1}
