Description

Fieldwalking was carried out by Wrawby Local History group in conjuction with North Lincolnshire Museum between 2001-2005. A large quantity of Roman material, mainly pottery and ceramic building materials, was recovered. The fieldwalking was carried out on 03/11/01, 21/09/02, 17/08/03, 21/03/04, 26/09/04, 17/10/04 and 17/09/05. The fieldwalking site lies mostly in Wrawby, North Lincs, but the field known as Camp Field in Bigby was also walked. {1}
