Description

A borehole (augering) survey was undertaken at Navigation Yard, Sleaford as the first part of an archaeological investigation prior to development of flats at the site. Ten boreholes were sunk to determine the strata beneath existing buildings. Two of the boreholes produced material suitable for radiocarbon dating.{1}{2}
