Description

Twenty-three linear and fifteen square trial trenches were excavated following geophysical and walkover surveys. A number of late Iron Age/Roman ditches were discovered, although most of the geophysical anomalies were proved to be of natural origin. A 19th century field boundary was also identified along with modern agricultural features. {1}{2}
