An archaeological watching brief was conducted during the excavation of foundation trenches for a residential development to the rear of 22a The Green, Scotter. The remains of two pits of unknown date were the only features of archaeological significance identified, although a single sherd of 14th century medieval pottery was recovered. {1}{2}
