Description

A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks for residential development on land off Francis Street, Lincoln. Although no significant archaeological features were observed, a redeposited human leg bone and a sherd of Romano-British pottery were recovered from modern deposits. This may indicate the presence of disturbed burials on or near the site. {1}{2}
