An archaeological watching brief was conducted during groundworks for the construction of a new dwelling wihin the walled garden at Caythorpe Hall. A portion of the wall surrounding the enclosed garden was recorded, with finds of 18th to 20th century pottery, tile and clay pipe fragments being found. An undated pit and ditch was also recorded. {1}{2}
