An archaeological evaluation (trial trenching) was undertaken on land at North Road, Gedney Hill. The work was done prior to the development of fishing lakes (including new access, parking area and construction of earth bunds). Evaluation was required as the site lay within extensive remains of a Romano-British landscape {1} {2}
