An archaeological evaluation was undertaken on land at Manor Farm, Sudbrook (Ancaster Parish), in advance of residential development. Trial trench evaluation (three trenches in total) was undertaken because the area was regarded as potentially archaeologically sensitive with archaeological remains dating from the prehistoric to the post-medieval periods present in the area. The aim of the evaluation was to gather sufficient information for the archaeological curator to formulate a policy for the management of the archaeological resources present on the site. {1}{2}
