Description

An archaeological watching brief and programme of environmental sampling took place during the groundworks for a residential development on land situated at No. 40 Monson street, Lincoln. The watching brief identified a number of features of archaeological significance, including deposits dated to the medieval, post-medieval and modern periods. The environmental sampling constituted three borehole samples, and evaluated a sequence of wetland and riverine deposits in the area {1} {2}
