Geophysical surveys of approximately 1.6 hectares were conducted over the site of a possible barrow cemetery at Fiskerton, Witham Valley, Lincolnshire. Topsoil volume magnetic susceptibilty measurements were made in situ with a Bartington MS2 meter and field loop at 15m intervals across a predetermined grid. In addition, one grid-square was surveyed at 5m intervals in an attempt to refine an area of markedly high readings.
