Description

Detailed magnetometry survey was carried out as part of a programme of evaluation. Circa 5ha of land was surveyed in four separate areas (two of these were counted as one area) which were determined by topsoil magnetic susceptibility paterning, cropmark information, density of artefacts recorded by fieldwalking, and from gradiometer scanning.{1}
