Description
A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was underetaken during excavation of a cable trench through the churchyard of All Saints' Church, Holbeach. An undated brick structure was thought to be the foundations of a tomb chest. A linear feature, also undated, corresponded in position to a path across the churchyard shown on a depiction of the church dated 1836. A scatter of 14th to early 20th century pottery and two 17th to 18th century clay pipe stems were also recovered. {1}
