Description

A magnetic susceptibility survey was undertaken along part of the route of a replacement water pipeline to the west of Normanton, to determine the location of a possible Roman stone building encountered during the laying of the original pipe in 1954. An area of strong magnetic response was interpreted as the location of the building. {1}
