An archaeological watching brief was conducted during groundworks for the construction of new classrooms at the Ellison Boulter CE Primary School, Scothern. The remains of an east to west aligned linear feature of probable medieval date was recorded, with a small quantity of probable late medieval and post-medieval ceramics being recovered from its backfill deposit. {1}{2}
