Description

An evaluation, in the form of trial trenching, was carried out on circa 1.1ha of land at Morley Farm, prior to an application for a residential development (six dwellings). Nine trenches were excavated, with a tenth being added to investigate an observed surface irregularity. Eight trenches measured 10m in length, one measured 15m, and Trench 10 measured 7.5m. Five trenches were positioned to investigate magnetic anomalies, and five others were randomly placed.{1}
