Description

An evaluation, in the form of trial trenching, was undertaken on circa 1.98ha of land to determine the implications of proposed development. Twelve trenches were excavated, covering a 2% sample of the site. Ten trenches measured 20m by 1.6m, and two trenches measured 25m by 1.6m. Numerous archaeological features ranging in date from prehistoric to post medieval were identified. {1}{2}
