An evaluation, in the form of trial trenching, was carried out to determine the implications of proposed development.Three trenches were excavated, covering a 2% sample of the site. Trench 1 measured 3m by 3m; Trenches 2 and 3 measured 10m by 3m. The trenches were positioned as requested by the County Archaeologist.{1}
