Description
An archaeological watching brief was conducted during the excavation of drainage trenches and primary roadways associated with the construction of Wragby Business Park. The remains of a number of parallel, east to west aligned, linear ditch-like features were recorded in the rough centre of the site. Contrary to the report's findings, later re-analysis of these features concluded that they were very likely to be the remains of medieval furrows, forming part of the previous agricultural use of this area. {1}{2}
