A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks associated with the construction of two new semi-detached dwellings on land to the east of Corrie Cottage, Gainsborough Road, Middle Rasen. Features relating to the previous late 19th and early 20th century occupation of this site were noted, but no archaeologically significant deposits were encountered. A single redeposited sherd of early post-medieval pottery recovered from topsoil deposits was the only find of note. {1}{2}
