Description

An archaeological excavation was conducted on land off Ings Lane, Scamblesby in February 2023 following the chance find of human remains during invasive works by the landowner. The remains were excavated along with a ditch and posthole feature, with radiocarbon dating providing a Middle Iron Age for the inhumation. {1}{2}
