Two trial trenches were excavated in July 2018 to the west of Evedon Road, Kirkby La Thorpe, following a withdrawn planning application for two residential dwellings. Remains associated with two probable medieval dwellings were recorded including two stone walled structures, a floor or pathway, and a probable drainage ditch and pit. {1}{2}
