Description

A tree ring analysis was conducted in 2011 on The Manor House and the Cartshed at Aslackby, commissioned from personal interest by the owner and undertaken by the Nottingham Univserity Tree Ring Dating Laboratory. Timbers were recorded dating to 1456/1481, and evidence was found that the timbers from the original hall were reused in later alterations. {1}
