Description
A site visit was conducted at Hall Close, Lower Bitchfield, as part of planning for a proposed residential building. Some of the earthworks apparent in LIDAR associated with the medieval settlement on the site (MLI34203) were visible on the site although interpretation was difficult and it is possible some of the possible hollows represent building platforms and a quarry pit. {1}
