Description

A scheme of archaeological monitoring was undertaken at the former Red Lion public house on Marton Road, Sturton By Stow, as part of the demolition of the building and redevelopment of the site, and a change in use to retail. Remains associated with the public house including a cellar were recorded, along with features shown in 19th century mapping including a well and water pump. {1}{2}
