Description

Following a scheme of geophysical survey (ELI14524) a trial trenching excavation was conducted in August and September 2016 on Land off Chesham Drive, Baston. The evaluation recorded archaeological features relating to an Iron Age boundary ditch, and possible Roman settlement activity. Human remains were also recorded but were left in situ. {1}{2}
