Description
Following a geophysical survey (ELI14439) the site south of the open Dunston Quarry was subject to trial trenching at some point around July 2016. Evidence for the rectilinear enclosure identified in geophysical survey was recorded, with possible pits and residual pottery of Roman date. {1}{2}
