A geophysical survey was conducted on land off Peterborough Road, Langtoft, to inform a proposed residential development. Two discrete areas were surveyed. In the northern area, linear anomalies interpreted as ditched enclosures and field boundaries were encountered, along with discrete anomalies possibly representing domestic refuse pits. Significant background noise from metal stanchions in the northern part of this area made interpretation of some anomalies difficult. Few anomalies were recorded in the southern area, and these were attributed to modern agricultural trends. {1}
