Description

A scheme of archaeological works including a strip, map, record in December 2016 to Janurary 2017, and a follow up watching brief between February and August 2017 were undertaken as a condition for the construction of a new building, car park, and change of use to a playing field at Bourne Grammar School. Evidence for Roman land use and resource extraction was recorded, along with a rare, nearly complete Roman head pot. {1}{2}
