Description
A scheme of ten trial trenches, excavated as part of planning for a new battery and substation array with associated infrastructure in February and March 2024, confirmed the results of an earlier scheme of geophysics (ELI14178). Remains associated with a small Roman settlement were recorded focused on the southern portion of the site. {1}{2}
