A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks for a new access road on land off Morley Lane, Bicker. A post-Medieval pond and undated ditch were encountered, as was the backfill from Trench 6 of the prior phase of trial trenching (see ELI1576). These were sealed by a layer of demolition material from the previous modern buildings on the site. No other archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered. {1}{2}
