An evaluation, in the form of trial trenching over a 2% sample of the site, was undertaken to determine the archaeological implications of proposed development on land at 56 Skirbeck Road (Rose Place). Two trenches measuring circa 10m by 1.6m were excavated, and auguring was used towards the southern end of Trench B.{1}
