Description
Four evaluation trenches were excavated as part of the planning conditions for a restaurant at Gonerby Moor, Grantham in June 2023. No finds or dating evidence were recovered, but each trench recorded evidence for plough furrows of probable medieval or early post-medieval date, and post-medieval to modern gravel/stone filled French drains. {1}{2}
