An archaeological evaluation consisting of five trenches was undertaken at Land at Blacksmiths Lane, North Road, Tetford, Horncastle, by PCAS Archaeology in October 2018 as part of the planning conditions for residential development on the site. Ditches and pits were recorded, with the dating evidence recovered ranged in date from the mid 15th century to the 20th century. {1}{2}
