Description
A magnetometry survey was conducted on land to the south of Witham Road, Woodhall Spa, to inform a residential development. A possible pit group was encountered in the centre of the survey area. {1}{2}
Subsequent trial trenching (see ELI14129) revealed the possible pit group to be a large undated watering hole or quarry feature.
