Description

A historic building survey was undertaken prior to the conversion to residential use and extension of the stable block to the rear of numbers 5 and 7 Lee Street, Louth. The surveyed buildings comprised an early 19th century two storey cart shed and stable with a hay loft above, with a mid 19th century single storey tack room to the west. Both buildings were constructed of red brick, under pitched gabled pantile roofs. The tack room had one chimney stack at its western end. A late 20th century garage extension to the west of the tack room was not included in the survey. {1}
