A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted to inform the construction of a new residential dwelling on land to the rear of 10 Church Lane, Keelby. The remains of four linear ditches, thought likely to have functioned as former drainage or boundary features, were recorded. No dating evidence was recovered from any of the ditches, and their exact origin remains uncertain. None of the ditches are depicted on historic mapping of this area, however, suggesting they may pre-date the surveying of this location. {1}{2}
