A fluxgate gradiometer survey was conducted to inform development on land at Torksey Lock. An area measuring c.3.5ha was surveyed. The survey revealed what appear to be linear and curvilinear buried ditches, as well as the northern part of a rectilinear enclosure. A cluster of pits were also identified which may have relate to industrial activity, such as kilns. {1}
