An earthwork survey was conducted to inform proposals for the erection of an agricultural building on land at Grange Farm, Fen Road, Halton Holegate. The survey identified a possible medieval furlong boundary, as well as medieval ridge and furrow across the site. More recent earthwork features were also identified including several small ponds, possible livestock watering holes and drainage channels. {1}{2}
