A programme of historic building recording of Maidenwell House was conducted prior to its proposed demolition. A site visit and a laser survey were undertaken as part of the recording. Descriptions were made of the internal rooms, as well as the outbuildings and yard features, including a cart shed, stables, workshops, coach house, tack room and kennel. The house was built in 1903 as a home for the tenants of a large estate to serve a working farm. {1}{2}
