An earthwork survey was conducted to inform the proposed construction of a new fishing lake at Fenlake Fisheries, Fen Lane, Metheringham. The remains of medieval ridge and furrow were recorded across the site, along with an associated probable headland at the north-eastern edge of the field. These remains were still discernible as extant earthworks, although had been truncated by later ploughing and the construction of the adjacent railway and bridge. {1}{2}
