Description

A programme of historic building recording was conducted prior to the proposed demolition of 200, 201, and 201A High Street, Lincoln. There are many separate units at the address, which has been used as retail, warehouse, and professional space, with some domestic occupation. The structures were initially built in the early post-medieval period, but have undergone many alterations, extensions, and additions leading to the current layout. Stonework elements in the cellar indicates that there was an earlier building on the site, likely dating to the 15th or 16th century. {1}{2}
