A fluxgate gradiometer survey was conducted to inform proposed development on land at Villa Farm, Norton Disney. The remains of probable prehistoric and Roman settlement activity was recorded as a concentration of linear and discrete magnetic anomalies, to the south of Villa Farm. Remains of probable medieval ridge and furrow was also noted to the west of the farm, as a series of parallel linear magnetic anomalies. Several modern buried services were also recorded, running across large parts of the site and resulting in large areas of magnetic disturbance, which may be masking other archaeological features here. {1}
